Mobile library service organized by the Agency of Archives and Library re-operated on this September after a short break on August. Mobile library service is a routine service to overcome the information gap of local communities who are difficult to reach library. Beside, the local governments are trying to provide information services proactively to achieve one mission of the Agency of Archives and Library: fostering and developing a culture of reading.
The targets of this mobile library service are Elementary School / MI, Junior High School / MTS, Senior High School/ Vocational High School / MA (both public and private schools) and village libraries in the regencies: Bangka, Central Bangka, West Bangka and South Bangka.

In September, 2018, the main targets of mobile library services are Senior High School Library and Junior High school library. In this month, it has success to carry out 6 time mobile library services. Less number of visitors but quiet good compare with 6 time visiting, it can reach 842 students and expected will be continue to increase.
This mobile library service is expected can help society in obtaining information, spreading information and reading services until the remote areas, build a good cooperation among social, educational, and local government institutions to improve the intellectual and cultural society.
